The Quickie Tie Down is made of UV protected and completely corrosive resistant materials. The composites are similar to the materials used on the GM Northstar motors.

They are available in 3/8" and 1/4" units

  • Outer case is glass filled nylon

  • Inner gear and pawl (release lever) is 33% glass filled nylon

  • Hooks are zinc plated steel wire with black vinyl coating

  • Torsion springs are .04" for 3/8  (.03 for 1/4") stainless steel wire for long durable life.

  • Rope is 3/8" monofilament polypropylene (Black)

  • Screws are industrial grade, black phosphate/coated with zinc to prevent rusting

  • Rivets are Zinc phosphate plated to prevent corrosion
